RIFLE. Cal. 32-40. S#. 13653, first year of mfg. Bbl. 26" octagon. Bead front with sporting rear sight altered to flat top configuration. Full length mag. Custom forend & straight grip stock of fancy Bastogne walnut have borderless wrap around hand checkering and original crescent steel buttplate. UNATTACHED ACCESORIES: green canvas covered hardcase with leather trim & straps. Green felt covered fitted interior. CONDITION: bbl. & mag. tube retain nearly all reblued finish. Action, forend cap and buttplate retain most of a dull restored case colored type refinish showing spots of remaining pitting. Stocks have good finish showing a few handling marks. Front sight is missing the bead. Functioning action. Dark lightly pitted bore retains intact rifling. (01-27964/DS). ANTIQUE. $2,000-3,000.
